Today i gonna show you a very easy way to host any game on your own ip. Many games are usually made to run in a localhost servers, because open the server to the web could be very dangerous for users, so be carefull if you choose this option.
Generally the games are used on vps (virtual private servers) computers that runs 24 hours just to keep your site/server online. Instead of use your own computer as your host you should choose the vps, because in case of attack your don't have the risk to lost your personal files..
So after this advices the first thing you have to do is...
To make this step more easy and fast you need to instal Visual Studio Code (click here)
after that click on File > open folder and choose your game folder
use the search option to and type 'localhost' on the top box and you ip on the box bellow like this:
and after replace all you have to replace localhost in the database too
Open HeidiSQL or any database manager you have, access your database > select your database ( generally is called settings) and change all fields that have localhost:
