TUTORIAL: How to Open Ports on Windows using Windows Defender

Hello friends!, today i gonna show you how to release the ports of your computer to allow access from clients to a server/webserver installed on your machine.

First of all remember that open ports could be dangerous if you're using your personal computer as a host, so in this case the best choice is host your website on a vps, using this your personal files will be safe from any invasion/problem.

Generally the webserver ports (the ones that use the number 80) are automatically setup

Another important thing is: in some cases open the ports on windows defender will not be enought to allow your users to access your website/server because some networks ( when we talk about personal computers ) have a router/internet company that restrict this setting on the network system.... but it happens only in few cases ( based on my experiences ), so now you're ready to release those ports! :)

1) Open Microsoft Windows Defender with advanced security

2)Click on Input > create new rule

3)Select port and next

4)Type the port number on the field, and next

5)Click on allow connection, next, next

6)Put a name to identify the port and finish! (you can use the number of the port too, i do this :)) )

The process is done on the input section, now you have to do the same process on the output section!
